President Donald Trump on Friday repeated his threat to close down the border between the United States and Mexico, but this time he noted he would act next week if Mexico doesn't step up.
"If Mexico doesn't immediately stop ALL illegal immigration coming into the United States throug (sic) our Southern Border, I will be CLOSING the Border, or large sections of the Border, next week," he tweeted.

Yep, that part has been disappointing to me also. He waited until after the 2018 election to seriously push for the wall...but, by then, he had no credibility on the issue and the Democrats simply waited him out. I’m glad he’s doing it now, but I would have preferred him doing it right out of the box - he won the election and had EVERY RIGHT to push for it.

Based on past issues I tend to agree with you. Say he issues his order April 3 at 12 noon to close the border, within 1 hour or less some Federal rat judge will overrule him and order the border open.

I’m not exactly a troll, if you take even the most minimal look at my posting history since 2000.
I’m somebody who just became fed up with the game. The game of acting like there’s any semblance of running this “country” as though that’s what it is.
He fired us up for the fight. But there’s no fight. There’s only dread of the next rigged election.
There _will_ be a fight, someplace, some time. Texas? Idaho? Missouri? I don’t know. It might only be a few hundred white nationalist men, but white men it will be.

Shut down the border for as long as it takes Mexico to get its S together and deport the illegals on its territory and prevent entry. About six months in my estimate.
Cost benefit analysis. As a developer Trump has done tons of these. He knows what will make Mexico take action. I see this as an incredibly simplistic cause-and-effect action which is long overdue.
The economies of both the US and Mexico have a lot of cross border traffic.
