I dont understand why they picked her. She is dumb. She is horribly ugly. ONe picture in particular sort of looks like a howdy doody black puppet around the mouth.

This is different. There are laws governing how this case should have been handled and Foxx broke every one of them. Even our useless State AG is going to have a very hard time turning the usual blind eye.
Her political allies are abandoning her in droves over this and the entire Chicago PD is furious. Foxx won’t be able to drive around the block without getting pulled over and ticketed for something, anything.
Even the Illinois Prosecutors Bar Association is blasting her publicly. This entire thing is going to be reopened and the phony plea deal tossed. If Smollet were smart, and he’s not, he’d start displaying some real contrition.
But he won’t and the system will get their payback. One does not publicly humiliate the Mayor and Police Superintendent without paying a price. Not in this town anyway.

Interesting set of apparently connected and colluding characters: Kamala Harris, Kim Foxx, Tina Tchen, Corey Booker, Lisa Borders, Jussie Smollett.
For Democrats in Cook County, the Democratic Primary is usually the whole ballgame and African Americans usually vote as a bloc. 35% of the vote is usually enough to win a nomination in the primary. The entire County Building is now filled with African American officeholders (County Board President, County Clerk, State’s Attorney, Circuit Court Clerk, etc.).

Smollett's vanity and recklessness could have touched off racial violence. Instead, it killed Preckwinkle's mayoral ambitions and Foxx's political future. It kills off that Foxx dream of one day becoming a U.S. senator from Illinois, once Dick Durbin is pushed out of the way. Imagine, Kim Foxx, celebrity chaser, hanging out with Kamala Harris and the Obamas... Can you imagine it?
