Monica Lewinsky, the White House intern whose relationship with President Bill Clinton erupted into an impeachment scandal, weighed in on the differences between how the Robert Mueller report was handled compared with the Kenneth Starr report.
She responded to a tweet from University of Southern California law professor Orin Kerr, who imagined what would have happened if the Starr 1998 report on Clintons conduct had only been given to then-Attorney General
Janet Reno, who then read it and published a four-page letter based on her private reading stating her conclusion that President Clinton committed no crimes.
If. Fing. Only, Lewinsky wrote on Twitter to her 465,000 followers early Wednesday morning.

Are they peeing on Rapin Bill’s whore Monica?
Monica- Have you ever thought about spending the rest of your miserable life working at a battered women’s shelter?
You have the same personality. Keep going back for more attention/beatings.
Learn the difference over the reasons Clinton was impeached. It wasn’t because you were under the Oval Office desk having oral sex with him.
It was because HE LIED.
Clinton was NOT convicted of perjury (as I thought I remembered.) He was found in contempt of court by a federal judge for lying under oath, fined $90,000.
Judge Wright wrote: “Sanctions are being imposed, not only to deter others who might consider emulating the president’s misconduct, but to compensate the plaintiff by requiring that the president pay her any reasonable fees and expenses caused by his willful failure to obey this court’s discovery orders.”
465,000 followers... UFB.
What a useless halfwit.
Not Lech. It was Sandy Burger.
She could have taken a cue from Donna Rice, and walked away from her past notoriety to live a more normal life.
STFU up you freakin’ spitter! Go away!
Maybe that sidewinder schlong the bent one is packin’ sprays right...
Best line on the thread
Youre making me sad.
She was probably the most publicly shamed American for the least of misdeeds ever.
Nixon became very ill after he was a constant American laughingstock. It isnt easy to recover from it. He really didnt. And he did deliberately lie to the American people as the President. All Monica did was have an ill conceived affair. At 22.
Lewinsky would be far better served if she’d be a little more diligent about staying out of the limelight and stop reminding us about how “victimized” she was. The woman wrote a book, got very rich on the interview circuit, had her own accessory line, and has a net worth north of 99% of Americans ($1.5 million). I find it difficult to muster up a great deal of sympathy for her.
Spot on.
Ah.. ok.
I absolutely agree. I have always felt bad for her. I never saw the consistency in attacking Bill Clinton’s morality for using his station and power over a 22-year old intern, supposedly because it is taking advantage of someone without a whole lot of experience based wisdom, and then attacking her as if she wasn’t taken advantage of.
She is handling it well and for God’s sake, of course she wishes her name wasn’t thrown out there with this crap. I place the blame wholly on Bill and on Hillary for the enablement for further victimizing Monica by trying the ‘crazy intern’ routine.

I agree with Lewinsky...
...that it’s a pretty obvious expectation that Reno would have lied or otherwise dissembled.
Clinton was being sued for using his office to reward those who accepted his sexual overtures (using government funds and positions to bribe), and to punish those who declined. He lied in his deposition, to cover for his repeated pattern of abuse of office. He and his also engaged in witness tampering, witness intimidation, and a variety of other crimes in just this case alone.
