OIG is not a prosecutor and can’t call a grand jury. You may think an OIG is fine, but it isn’t good enough. An OIG can only recommmend, while a special counsel can indict and you call it theater. Rolling my eyes.
OIG can’t look at the FISA Court itself.
Nor can he empanel a GJ.
Last time the OIG gave us one criminal referral and the one criminal referral was about a leak (by McCabe) that hurt Hillary and Obama.

I’ve got to go back and review but isn’t this OIG a big bust - plus they can’t issue indictments. We need the folks with the long knives going after Obama’s and Hillary’s cabal of crooks.

OIG investigations can only recommend that DOJ initiate actual criminal investigations ... pretty much the same thing Graham is requesting ... AND so far, jack has come of the last OIG investigation ...
