Committee has no control over the movement. They asked what would be moved, they were told. Would have to pass a resolution blocking it, and they wouldn’t be able to get a veto-proof resolution through.

I think there is a law on the books saying DoD funds can be used for exactly this.

It requires a vote of the full House to approve or deny ANYTHING to another branch of government.
And the full Congress has already approved these funds for DoD and has already authorized POTUS to redirect them in the event of Emergency Declaration.
Adam Smith didn’t deny anything. He just thinks he did.

Everyone of these folks trying to stop this wall should have a family member murdered by an illegal. The politicians should be charged with treason and put in front of a firing squad.
Adam Smith does not have that authority, nor does his Committee. The entire House already had it’s little resolution disagreeing with the President’s emergency declaration and failed to override Trump’s veto. This is pure and simple grandstanding. Adam Smith is a corrupt idiot who doesn’t even know what his authority is.
The federal government spends money on thousands of truly unnecessary things every day, generally with nary a peep about it from dem lawmakers. The fact that they are fighting this particular expenditure with everything they have proves that it IS absolutely necessary.
Are we, the American people, going to have ANY republicans stand up to this twit??? Are we???
