The federal government spends money on thousands of truly unnecessary things every day, generally with nary a peep about it from dem lawmakers. The fact that they are fighting this particular expenditure with everything they have proves that it IS absolutely necessary.
I wish the administration would have diverted billions from climate change research. That would get the left's knickers in a twist

Sure would be nice to see how many $$$$$ are spent in GRANTS to study all kinds of stupid things, and move all that Grant $$$ to the WALL.
Giving out a GRANT-—not a loan— to someone who is ‘studying why Hong Kong women become prostitutes” isn’t a good use for USA taxpayer $$$.
$100 million being paid out be San Fran to clean up the mess from poop-pee- and syringes - needles. There is MORE $$$ for the WALL.
