(WASHINGTON) An effort by House Democrats to override President Donald Trumps first veto has failed. That hands him a victory because his declaration of a national emergency at the Southwest border will remain in effect.
The Democratic-controlled chamber has voted 248-181 in favor of overriding Trumps veto. That fell 38 votes short of the 286 needed

Funny how things changed for Ryan since 2012. At the time, I could have gone and predicted around 2024 to 2028, he would have run for President and won. Today? There is such negativity about the guy, that the best he can ever hope for is maybe winning the governor’s chair in his home state.
It won’t surprise me if CNN hires him for the primary period of 2020, to cover election talk.

They need 290 votes. Only a dozen Republicans crossed party lines to vote with the Democrats.
They needed about 45 and got about 13 GOP votes.

More winning!,,😀😀😀 I wish I had the audio that James T Harris uses on his radio show (here in Phoenix he is on KFYI 550 from 4-7 pm). It is a rapper style that raps out winning, winning, winning! James has become my favorite conservative radio host...he is so spot on with his analysis and humor is awesome!
