Charges against Jussie Smollett dropped, attorneys say

Charges against actor Jussie Smollett have been dropped, his attorneys said Tuesday.

In a statement, Smollett's attorneys Tina Glandian and Patricia Brown Holmes said, "Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped and his record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him. Jussie was attacked by two people he was unable to identify on January 29th. He was a victim who was vilified and made to appear as a perpetrator as a result of false and inappropriate remarks made to the public causing an inappropriate rush to judgement.

Jussie and many others were hurt by these unfair and unwarranted actions. This entire situation is a reminder that there should never be an attempt to prove a case in the court of public opinion. That is wrong. It is a reminder that a victim, in this case Jussie, deserves dignity and respect. Dismissal of charges against the victim in this case was the only just result.

Jussie is relieved to have this situation behind him and is very much looking forward to getting back to focusing on his family, friends and career."

They had the associates on camera buying the how to hoax a hate crime kit at the hardware store.

The CPD are unhappy, they said the way to show you're innocent is to get your day in court and not some secret dealings.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel pretended to express outrage too.

I read a comment somewhere the DA used some Michigan law for first time felons aimed at keeping black men out of jail. It drops the charges, seals the case, has a community service component.

We can hope the feds press forward because there's no way this is JUSTICE.

He's still claiming to have "told the truth" when we know the actual "attackers" were not white MAGA hat wearing perps.

This is totally believable. The liberal wing of the justice system just confirmed it’s bigotry in spades. This was an act of anti-white bigotry by Smollett’s and this prosecutor. And this trend of anti-white bias has not peaked by any stretch of the imagination.

White folks need to wake up. All I’m asking for is more vigilance and whites to regain some since of self worth. The alternative will be second class citizenship, given that whites will be a minority without hate crime protection and affirmative action stealing their opportunities. After that I shudder to think what will happen.

Smokeit thinks he's acted his way through this, that he won. But at least the reporting revealed he's on shaky ground financially, mentally, emotionally, and certainly spiritually. Even legally, if Trump can drop the Federal Mail Fraud anvil on him.

It's so fucking obvious it hurts to recount it.

So Smokeit is right where he was before he perpetrated the hoax:

He got away with it, reinforcing his delusional ideation. He's not immune to negative attention, he desires negative attention.
Now there's a greater likelihood he really is fired.
So Smokeit has the perfect incentive to raise the stakes and engineer a much greater hoax, one that may actually damage more than justice.

If you understand the conspiracy to subvert justice that Obama and his minstrels and Karamela and Foxx and whoever else was in on this, was performed specifically to stick it in your eye, whitey, they'll do it again.

And they will all be in on it this time.

One thing about Karamela, she is without shame, a Moochelle with a history of using political and legal favors to gather power -- a Cankles with a built-in grudge against all whitey and 'deplorables'. If ever there was a reason for Trump to USe surveillance powers against his enemies, this is it. It's not optional.
