The media’s 24/7 coverage of the bogus collusion could have had triggered more serious consequences.
There was real “animus” toward Trump seen in the hacked emails of Obama’s FBI, DOJ and the rest of the intel apprat.

President Trump know that his enemies in the media are two dimensional thinkers. They’ll read the memo and do the opposite in childish defiance, thusly creating chaos among his targets, who continue to open their mouths and dig deeper holes.
Exhibit #1 in future libel and slander cases against said media outlets.
Verdict for the plaintiff. Treble damages.

That said, if the media and/or congress continue to push a proven false narrative, they will be knowingly sowing “social discord” that may be “interfering with the election” – and knowingly colluding with Russia.

You say you want reparations? How about the media paying for the damage they have done to these poor, malware enslaved souls, along with overwhelmingly painfully punitive monetary compensation for the rest of US who have had to suffer through their media induced insanity!
Where is the freedom of the press? Our civil rights have been violated. Perhaps the Washington Compost and the New York Slimes can withstand another huge lawsuit. Maybe they can’t.
