Or the Acosta press pass revocation was a dry run. They pull the credentials of the proven propagandists and they have the Mueller report, their conduct, this memo, etc., to justify.

The headline is SOOOO misleading!
Trump didn’t TELL the media not to do anything. He ASKED them not to.
The headline suggests Trump is acting like a Dictator!
The letter is backed implicitly by a threat of suing them out of business for libel.
They have class and leave it implicit, but it’s there, just read between the lines.
President Trump know that his enemies in the media are two dimensional thinkers. They’ll read the memo and do the opposite in childish defiance, thusly creating chaos among his targets, who continue to open their mouths and dig deeper holes.
Exhibit #1 in future libel and slander cases against said media outlets.

The White House is setting up a defamation suit. They’re focusing on these representatives because their positions indicate that they KNOWINGLY made false statements.
If a network, which is now on notice from the Mueller report, fails to correct these false statements from their guests and continues to allow them to make their false claims, there’s a strong argument that the networks are committing some serious defamation as well.

That said, if the media and/or congress continue to push a proven false narrative, they will be knowingly sowing “social discord” that may be “interfering with the election” – and knowingly colluding with Russia.
