Special Counsel Robert Mueller has dispatched the Russia collusion theories to the land of cranks and bitter-enders, but there are still some loose ends. To wit, how did the partisan propaganda known as the Steele dossier become the basis for an unprecedented FBI probe of a presidential campaign, an abuse of law enforcement, and two years of media and political hysteria?
We know the outlines of the story but not all the details, and no one has yet been held accountable under the law or even held to much public scrutiny. It’s time for both.
The dossier was concocted in spring 2016 by oppo-research firm Fusion GPS, and financed by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Fusion hired former British spy Christopher Steele to compile sensational claims, based on anonymous Russian sources, that Donald Trump was compromised by Russian intelligence.
Mr. Steele used his intelligence contacts to get the dossier to an Obama State Department official and the FBI. Fusion GPS chief Glenn Simpson funneled it to the FBI through Justice Department employee Bruce Ohr...

Mr. Mueller’s conclusion that there was no collusion suggests that he was not able to verify the dossier’s claims, and there needs to be a reckoning. The country has endured two years of angst and controversy based on a politically motivated invention financed by the Clinton campaign and promoted by former Obama CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
The Justice Department Inspector General is investigating, and so should prosecutors. Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham is promising hearings, and he should put this entire crowd under oath. The Steele dossier looks like one of the nastiest dirty tricks in political history, and its authors and promoters should be held accountable.

It will soon be evident to all that a “collusion”-obsessed corporate media did exactly jack and squat to actually investigate the story.
I don’t know how to post articles, but the Daily Mail has one this morning where they found went to interview Steele and found him at the Surrey train station. When they identified themselves as reporters, he literally ran away from them to his wife’s car and they quickly drove off.
Abraham Lincoln on meeting Harriett Beecher Stowe during the Civil War - “So you’re the little lady that started this great big war”. Trump if he ever meets the execrable coward and foreigner Steele: “so you’re the shirking, shrinking coward that started this huge, phony investigation”.
It’s high time to investigate the investigators.
How is it that the FBI and CIA could be so infiltrated at the highest ranks by partisan political actors who had no regard for the law or for their oaths of office? Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Ohr, Sztrok, Paige.......how much deeper does it go?
What did Obama know and when did he know it?
Clearly some more careers need to be broken and some of the above (and others?) need to be sent to prison for abusing the FISA courts, for leaking classified information and other illegality to try to undo the results of a democratic election.
It seem pretty clear to me that Trump isn’t going to let this scandal just go away and be forgotten. Rudy Giuliani said last night they have a good idea who was behind the origin of the Russian collusion conspiracy hoax. He said they need to find proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
My guess is they suspect Obama was the origin and the ring leader.
When the history of this time is written, President Trump will be acknowledged as one of the strongest leaders in modern history.
I was disappointed in some of the commentators on FOX who think we should just move on. If you have any respect for the rule of law this must be exposed completely.

Trump is the friendliest man you will ever meet. Until you cross him. Then he is a vindictive bastard. This isn’t going away anytime soon. He played the Democrats and the Deep States game at the same time and won both. I do see a lot of border wall funding coming in the near future, especially if it keeps the rats responsible for this out of prison.
I think I would be fine with complete border wall funding and comprehensive immigration reform on Trump’s terms to put an end to the investigation into the origin of this hoax.
Once he closes that deal, go full bore on the investigation and lock people up.

The collusion was with Barack Obama’s Administration/Fusion GPS/DNC/Clinton Inc working with Foreign Agents (Steele and Russian operatives) to smear Trump then later trying to remove him from office.

Gathering from what was mentioned in the article, the Clinton Foundation & the DNC financed this the dossier & so the whole bill for this dead end to nowhere should be theirs. The taxpayer should not be stuck for any of it.
We also must know the involvement of the Kenyan Fraud and his stooge, Loretta Lynch.
Go after everybody except Obama, and let their rotten stink be invisible source that diminishes and eventually destroys the deep admiration—and even love—many people feel for him.
They were all APPOINTEED there by Barak Hussein Obama. They were appointed because of their partisan positions, not in spite of them. Their actions were exactly what BHO wanted.

It has always been difficult to believe that Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Rice, Lynch, and senior subordinates such as Ohr, Strzok, and Paige -- a partial listing -- would/could have coordinated so precisely on parallel tracks while operating independently. And since the Clinton campaign and the DNC financed the Steele dossier, HRC and senior campaign and DNC officials were involved as well. Obama doesn't strike me as devious enough, clever enough or energetic enough to have originated and managed the effort, but he would presumably have had knowledge of it and would have given approval. A LOT of people are likely implicated. I am agnostic about who the originator might have been. But the alarming thing is that the much of the top echelon of U.S. intelligence and law enforcement collaborated so readily, with no apparent pushback and no whistleblowers until Mike Rogers stepped up. Obama politicized the agencies to an unprecedented degree. This is not limited to DOJ and the intelligence agencies.

I've thought this exact thing for over a year now. Go after the minions and make them pay with their careers and lives. Foment isolation and let it turn into resentment of and pure hatred for their no talent, junior senator, Idol. Let the mass sobering begin!
