Media pulled off big con with Russia collusion story
Washington Times ^ | Mar 24, 2019 | by Charles Hunt

Posted on 03/25/2019 11:29:53 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

America got conned again.

It was all a big set-up. A ruse. A dirty canard.

The whole thing was one giant lie.

And everybody peddling it — from House Democratic leaders, to Senate Democrats running for president, to the Senate Republican who reported the whole thing in the first place, to the roaring lions of the Great White Media — knew it was a lie.

Sure, there are some — take sleazy lawyer Michael Avenatti, for instance — who are so monumentally stupid that he probably did not know that it was all a big con. It is not uncommon for newbies on Washington politics to fall for giant cons while somehow thinking they are doing the Lord’s work. These people think very highly of themselves.

But for the most part, all the lizards around here selling this pile of horse manure about Russian hookers, backdoor deals and unprintable bedroom behavior knew it was a big fat lie. They told the lie anyway.

They have lied about Donald Trump from the moment he arrived on the political scene and taught them all how it is supposed to be done. As a political force, the candidate found gem after gem that these longtime experts had been ignoring their entire careers.

Truly, he gave voice to voiceless millions who for decades have only had these dishonest political eunuchs speaking for them. Now that he is in the White House, President Trump has carried on delivering on issues that regular Americans actually care about.

But the press ignores all of those issues. All they care about is the Russia collusion hoax.

That is partly because the so-called “reporters” in Washington are entirely cowed into submission by establishment politicians in both parties...

It was a *big* one, for sure.
Sadly, I think that the *biggest* are ones we’ve never heard of, or were so promptly buried, all data was sanitized and witnesses were “wet worked”.

But after the nearly two-year investigation found no collusion or clear obstruction of justice, Trump and his aides showed little interest in healing or national unity

I knew it was all B.S. from first time barky claimed that “17 agencies” had confirmed “Russian interference” in the election.

FYI...Russia's state TV response concluded the Mueller Report findings cemented Trump's odds of being re-elected in 2020.

I think you are spot on with example boss. In the “bigger picture” we tend to get caught up in things and forget to keep an eye on both hands. While our attention is on one hand the other hand is picking our pockets and it’s all of them. Power is immunity and immunity is power.

But what is most important to factor in, is that all these characters are just pawns in the overall game of global strategy...

“...Treason would be a better term, but our Constitution defines it only in terms of war and it’s doubtful that would stick in court.....”

The Constitution set the bar for treason high, then Marshall pegged it higher at the Burr-Bleenerhassett trial.

There’s enough security-violations, misuse of position, funds etc. federal crimes committed by that bunch for a long stretch. the “treason” word is thrown around way too sloppily, it makes some people sound like they are Chekist wannabes!

The lamestream media is mad because Trump exploited the media in his election. Trump found a way in which to use the media’s bias against him to do his campaign advertising.

The repube establishment are mad because their anointed one was not elected. The establishment even carefully orchestrated the candidates so they would take away votes from other candidates so low energy Yeb would win the nomination. With the phony Muler investigation taking center stage, this aspect of the election was forgotten about and the demonrats have seemed to have picked up this style of getting who they want as the candidate for POTUS with the candidate field becoming very large.

The demonrats are mad because the hoax was uncovered and now are off trying to find anything and everything they can. The will use any form of -ism they can and that which sticks they will run with. All because a no-name has-been came out of the woodwork for the 2008 election and stole it from the entitled one. WJC is mad because he was supposed to be the “first black president” and he isn’t back in the WH to cavort with the female interns and steal more stuff for his personal estate and his library.A word on his library: it is fitting that his library is no more than a double wide which made news recently as it was about to fall into the river.

Until such time I see people going to jail over this vitriolic and abashedly assinine treasonous hoax perpetrated on the office of the POTUS, I will refuse to call repubes by their actual name. For now they will remain repubes.

Yup. And was that the same night Trump joked that maybe the Russians could find Hillary’s lost emails? That quip was all the humorless media needed to ‘prove’ collusion.

Treason would be a better term, but our Constitution defines it only in terms of war and it's doubtful that would stick in court.

-------

The US Constitution defines Treason but it also defines Sedition as basically treason but during the times in which the USA is not at war.

Since we are not at war the best term to be used here is "sedition" as defined in 18 U.S. Code § 2384. Seditious conspiracy (see below).

I am sure other charges can be levied in addition to Seditious conspiracy. these charges should add some substantial amount to the 20 years.

18 U.S. Code § 2384

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 808; July 24, 1956, ch. 678, § 1, 70 Stat. 623; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(1)(N), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.).

But for the most part, all the lizards around here selling this pile of horse manure about Russian hookers, backdoor deals and unprintable bedroom behavior knew it was a big fat lie. They told the lie anyway.

“It comes from a very ancient democracy, you see..."
"You mean, it comes from a world of lizards?"
"No," said Ford, who by this time was a little more rational and coherent than he had been, having finally had the coffee forced down him, "nothing so simple. Nothing anything like so straightforward. On its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford. "It is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them," said Ford. "They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates to the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards?"
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard," said Ford, "the wrong lizard might get in. Got any gin?"

Sounds exactly like the arguments put forward for voting for Bush League Republicans, also known as Democrats in R jerseys.

Yeah I know... I wonder how many emotional snowflakes of their own committed suicide over the last couple years because of these lies for profit?

Everyone who has lost someone because of this propaganda needs to sue the crap out of them. We need to re-instate the “propaganda” clause right away.

Easy to sue, harder to prove. Still, the potential payoff is large enough to turn the heads of half the lawyers in the country!
