The first "british" brand is #3 Vauxhall and that's owned by Opel, a Franco-German company. Then you have #11 Land Rover that is owned by an indian company, then #15 Mini that is owned by BMW

There aren't any "British car companies" of size at all.

Vauxhall are assembled in Luton from parts made in France, Italy etc.

Ditto for Rover and even more so for Mini (which uses the BMW platform). Japanese and Korean cars may become cheaper, yes -
