Almost all major Democratic candidates for president in 2020 will not attend next week's American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference after the radical left group MoveOn.org called for a boycott of the event.
The Hill:
"The influx of progressive candidates confirming they will not attend — even those who have gone in years past — shows how the momentum is shifting," Iram Ali, campaign director at MoveOn, said in a statement Wednesday. "AIPAC is clearly a partisan lobbying group that has undermined diplomatic efforts, and progressives want no part in it."

I just looked at the AIPAC Conference website.
Chuck & Nancy are confirmed speakers, along with Steny Hoyer. I guess the old Democrat guard has nothing to lose.
Doesn’t look like POTUS will be there, though. Pence, Pompeo, Nikki Haley, and McConnell are also confirmed speakers.

For daring to oppose the phony Iran deal, AIPAC has violated intersectionality and must be demonized.

AIPAC is mostly leftist - with some more conservative people along for the ride The biggest problem is what the organization still officially endorsed, the long- discredited “two state” proposal ( which originated at the Soviet kgb in order to dismember israel in a “ politically correct” manner - just one short step to destruction again — and the cleverest part of the scheme is how the commies sold it so successfully to their friends in the leftist political wings in both USA and Israel). ———. But Still and all, for an American political candidate to boycott the aipac meeting while associating with or even advocating anti- Semitic policies or slanderous tropes like DNC has done — it has to be ( yet another) wake- up call to American voters of good will , people all across the political spectrum, just how dangerous the dnc (and several D candidates, political figures) have become. Chuck and Nancy are there to collect the checks—Jewish donors are very important to the party. No doubt Chuck and Nancy will promise to keep the crazy lefties in line.
Whether they can deliver on those promises remains to be seen.
“Open borders” is a _very_ dangerous gamble—hopefully the Jewish donors will figure it out before it is too late.
The dinosaurs of the Democrat party, the old “sort-of” moderate center-lefters, still show up, but the bulk of the Democrats have abandoned any pretense to being “pro-Israel” and have gone a-whoring off after a full tilt support of the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR.
The members of AIPAC have been put on notice. They are no longer welcome in any of the races that count on the Democrat ticket in 2020, so they have a choice of two - stay home and sit on their hands, or do a searing and perhaps painful reassessment of what they REALLY think of Republicans, and how that relates to to all the old myths and misconceptions they have been inundated with for decades.
How much more blatant does it have to get??

Well, if the acronym meant “Anti Israel Political Action Committee” you can bet they would have been there. Even though, sometimes, I wonder if the current bunch/cabal/gaggle isn’t actually.
