Bernie was born in 1941. If elected President, he would turn 80 in his first year in office.
This might be his last round-up. That’s when you toss the positions that were useful in the past for those that might be useful right now. He has no more need to pretend to be consistent or principled on 2A issues... or much else, for that matter.
Even so Bernie may be a mentally challenged socialist, he probably is smart enough to realize that he has no chance of winning. However as I understand it, even if he loses he maybe entitled to pay himself two years wages of what ever the job he is running for pays, and take it out of any contributions. In this incident it is the presidency and getting two years wages even if he loses, is nothing to scoff at. My hunch is that good old Bernie, as mentally deranged he may be, knows pretty well what he may end up with.
