Even so Bernie may be a mentally challenged socialist, he probably is smart enough to realize that he has no chance of winning. However as I understand it, even if he loses he maybe entitled to pay himself two years wages of what ever the job he is running for pays, and take it out of any contributions. In this incident it is the presidency and getting two years wages even if he loses, is nothing to scoff at. My hunch is that good old Bernie, as mentally deranged he may be, knows pretty well what he may end up with.
So, your take is, he gets supported by his Senate salary and the campaign, then pulls out $300 to $400K as compensation. That’s double dipping!
It will be triple dipping if he folds at the end and somehow gets a deal on yet another vacation home!
