The Trump haters never quit. President Trump has probably lost untold millions if not billions by giving up his daily control of Trump, Inc. He takes no salary.
The President is not in this for money, and the pennies that he makes from the one hotel in DC, is chump change compared to all the rest of his properties.

Prior to President Trump, George Washington was the richest President.
Was Washington violating the emoluments clause when his farms were selling wheat to other countries when he was President?

Did the Bushes sell all of their stocks and properties? They put them into a trust and the money kept flowing.
Rich people run for President. Duh.

People who earn their money should be prohibited from holding public office.
Only people collecting government checks can be trusted to treat the government properly.

But what do you expect from people who believe property is theft?

If you look it up Obama was the President with the most actions overturned by the Supreme Court in American history. Obama also stonewalled and tried to block more Freedom of Information requests than any President since the law went into effect.

Suggested remedy I saw in the article comments: Put up an “Americans only” sign at the hotel. That way, Trump won’t have to worry about making money off of foreigners.

Shedd’s got their number and made them dial it. To wit:
“Judge Dennis Shedd pressed her about whether anything short of divestment would resolve concerns about Trump violating the emoluments clause.
She said a declaration that Trump has violated the clause and an injunction ordering him not to do so could also be an option....And Shedd questioned if there was another possible motive, asking if a court declaration that the president violated the ‘emoluments’ clause would ‘be the basis for a high crime and misdemeanor for impeachment?’
‘I don’t believe so,’ AliKhan replied.”

ANY “declaration” by ANY “judge” ANYWHERE that Trump has “violated” ANYTHING (up to and including a parking ticket or overdue library book) would be elevated to the “high crimes and misdemeanors” that would justify his impeachment, in the hate-filled, insane empty minds of today’s national-socialist democrat party.

[Deputy Assistant Attorney General Hashim Mooppan] said the plaintiffs argue they've suffered injuries
from competition when the emoluments clause was meant as a check against government corruption. "Nice comeback, Hashim."
