This “revere the dead” crap happened around here too when he died.
I called him out for what he really was and said I was glad he finally dropped.
“Take your vile to another thread!!”
“Show some common decency!!”
stuff along those lines.
I didn’t and I won’t.
i won’t when RBG dies either.
I’ll celebrate.
I revere my father, and my uncles, and other GOOD men who have passed.
mccain??.....spit.
AMEN...as a VN Vet, I too think McLame was nothing more than a self aggrandizing POS. If I were to ever get an opportunity to visit his grave site, I would be pleased to water it down with all that I had to spill. Spit...
I agree with you. If that matters. I’m not anybody.
But John McCain (AND John Kerry) were both fakes, riding along on their fathers’ and/or wife’s money.
I’ll be damned if they’ll make us profess love and devotion for one who burns in hell now and the other that soon will be.
The swamp thinks we were all born at night...LAST NIGHT!
Yep, it did. Ignored them, and said what I wanted to...and still do. McCain sold out this country a long time ago. And the fact that Meghan and her mother have seen fit to speak badly about President Trump, and the Trump family since McCain died, the two of them should look in the mirror when it comes to letting things rest in peace. McCain started the McCain-Trump feud when he criticized Trump for coming to Arizona and "stirring up the crazies." Trump saw that as a personal offense, and rightfully so, and when asked about McCain's comments a week later, made his now-famous comment that he liked people who weren't captured. The only one to blame for what has been said about John McCain, whether he was well, on his death bed, or in his grave, is John McCain himself. You get what you give, and John McCain gave a lot of $hit to the people of this country in his life. Payback is a bitch, and I hope he's burning in hell right now with the likes of his best-buddy, and date-of-decease partner...Teddy Kennedy.
I know. Why anyone would revere a traitor is beyond me.
I agree! There is no reason to honor the dead if the dead guy is a dishonorable person, such as McCain.
Yup. McCain deserves the acrimony and I won’t whitewash history to be a single letter softer on him just because he’s now properly rotting in the ground and probably not enjoying heat somewhere.
Agreed
Well, I didn’t actually know the man except by reputation, & won’t revile him, but at the same time I have no particular soft spot in my heart for him either. It was disgraceful that he called himself a Republican & voted the way he did. His actions as a politician will not be missed by many.
