Remember how Mitt Romney wanted to do this?

And the liberals charged that Romney wanted to kill Big Bird?

Then Romney came back and said he loves Big Bird?

Expect similar charges that Trump wants to kill off PBS and NPR programming.

The issue here is not an issue of wanting to kill off these networks, the issue is government funding for them.

But the liberals will present it as an issue of Trump wanting to kill off those networks.

Heck, President Trump will tweet a picture of him eating a turkey drumstick with a few yellow feathers.

Not much point in it. Yhe Congress will trash this budget just like the Paul Ryan Congress did. Then they’ll pass a deficit laden pork fest just like Ryan’s Congress did.

Big Bird needs to get a job. (I wish he’d tweet that.)

I remember that charge. In reality, Big Bird's capitalistic side brings in tons of dollars, as do other Sesame Street characters. It is more than enough money to offset the federal contributions.
