Facebook and these other companies have defended themselves in lawsuits when somebody post child pronography or something that may have contributed to violence by using the argument they are only a platform that cannot control what others post or share, that they are not content creators. These actions totally void these claims that they are only a platform. If there is an honest trial with all the facts coming out, they are screwed.

I’ve heard many accounts saying they can’t put the name “Tommy Robinson” in a Facebook post without getting 30 day bans. They want to shut down a NAME!

Now add into the extreme...Islam, Sharia. I’ll just make a guess but, my bet is that these global media tech giants will enable the censorship to be under complete control of the host nation. It will become too difficult for Facebook to exist according to rules of the host country (cultural rights/wrongs & law), plus I’m sure there’s money in it. How much influence will Islam have? Especially across Europe? We’re about to see the eventual nuclear reaction of opposing ideologies - everywhere. It can’t be long now.
This level of censorship is going to break the planet. The NZ government blocked gab.com and “Dissenter” so the people couldn’t comment on web articles....like they can’t use a VPN! The arrogance is astonishing.

I have sent messages to President Trump on two occasions warning him if someone in his administration doesn’t act soon that’s exactly what is coming. These social media giants really believe they can do damn well as they please with no penalty.
