The left really wants to give kids the right to vote.
This idea is so popular on the left that a majority of House Democrats voted in favor of lowering the voting age to 16.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., endorsed the idea as well.

Why would Pelosi and others on the left want to give high school children—hardly known for deep wisdom and sound judgment—a vote?
A new poll perhaps demonstrates why.
The Harris Poll, released exclusively by Axios, shows that roughly half of young Americans say they would prefer living in a socialist country.
It also reveals that many young Americans think the government should provide free health care, education, and medicine, among many other things.
This is very much in line with a poll released in late 2017 by the Victims of Communism Memorial Fund that found similar support for communism among young people, along with widespread ignorance about what communism is.
Most of those surveyed couldn’t define communism or socialism. Many believed, for instance, that President George W. Bush killed more people than Josef Stalin, the ruthless Soviet dictator whose regime murdered tens of millions.
The fact is, socialism attracts widespread support from millennials and members of Generation Z who at the same time are ignorant about socialism.
It’s no wonder that left-wing groups are desperately trying to find ways to get children to vote or be used as useful tools for their agenda, which now appears to include outright socialism.

When my generation dies off (I’m the same age as TRUMP)....the Marxists will win for a while....Then Matthew Chapter 24 comes into play...that’s how I see things.
No I don’t think that America as we know it will survive...the dark sides plan to brainwash our kids is succeeding. Then add a corrupt DeepState Media and and the TRUTH will be hard to find.
To me we are approaching the Biblical Last Days or the TRIBULATION....which will be a huge wake up call for conservatives and christians.
If it were up to me, you’d have to be 35 to vote.

OTOH...excluding the idiots from Parkland, studies show that most Gen whatever comes after Millennials, are much more conservative.

Voters need to be old enough to have had to support themselves and have people such as children who depend on them.
Even ConservaTeen thinks 16 as a voting age is stupid. I believe it should be 25...and no one who is 25 and is living in their parents basement should not vote...
I’m not so sure about this. My daughter is in middle school. I get the sense that everyone in her school is either a black lives matters bozo (you can guess which ones) or a Trump supporter. Yeah, she’s in 7th grade. Yeah, in 10 years they might all be leftists. But on the other hand, they might not. The millenials are lost, they are stuck on stupid and will be forever I think. But the generation coming behind them might just surprise us.
If it were up to me, you’d have to be 18 and a landowner to vote.
Or be currently in the military, or a veteran with four years / honorable discharge.
I agree with you on the millenials. A conversation with them on any thing deep is just about worthless. Our education system has screwed them really well.
The following generation has to be much better or our country is in big trouble.

But the libs will complain that if kids 18 can enlist to guard our country they deserve to vote.
If I had my druthers, there would be a two year mandatory service in the Armed Forces, but that would not be popular enough to go anywhere. Kids need discipline, something their folks neglected to teach them, and the army, etc. is the place to get it.
In order to do that, you have to change the way teachers are taught....I must be dreaming.....our schools are indoctrination stations for socialism now.
Frankly the voting age should be 25-30 years of age...at that point young people are beginning to think for themselves, they are beginning to break away from the herd, have a little skin in the game. Giving a 16 year old voting rights is tantamount to destroying the nation.......Pelosi must be really hard up/scared to even suggest such a catastrophic idea.
If you want Santa Claus as president you really need to lower the voting age to about 4.
