Our Prime Minister heads the LIBERAL PARTY. The Opposition is the LABOR PARTY.
‘Liberal’ doesn’t have the same connotation here as in the US.
Our LIBERAL PARTY is supposed to be conservative. I say ‘supposed’ because with each day that passes, they both seem to blend into each other, and act according to the dictates and wishes of the socialistic, communistic, dictatorial UNITED NATIONS.
Whatever happened to the Progressive Conservatives? Their extinction didn’t mean the Liberals were going to move to the right, did it? It looks more like the entire country has moved so the left, pushing Liberals to the right in terms of relative position only..
Conservatism shouldn’t be a relative term. If the Liberals took on a conservative mantle would they still be Liberals?
Australia is similar to Canada where the Conservative Party is “liberal.”
The liberals are stone cold liberal fascist wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing.
The now fading New Democrat Party is the furthest left, totalitarian in their politics, they seek to gather power from the People unto themselves where ever they are elected.
The Green Party in Canada is much the same, socialist with a totalitarian bent, based on eco-ideology as an excuse for totalitarianism. The Green Party is filled with academics and “intellectuals” who want to rule the People without any regard to personal freedom or government accountability.
