Masked gunmen barged onto a bus in northern Mexico, carrying a list of names.
They left without firing a single shot, taking at least 19 passengers with them as they sped away from the scene. And so far, they seem to have vanished without a trace.
Gunmen intercepted the bus March 7 along the highway that connects San Fernando, a town in the northern Mexican state of Tamaulipas, with the city of Reynosa, which sits across the US border from McAllen, Texas.
Officials at first tried to downplay the possibility the migrants were kidnapped...
Rafael Alonso Hernandez Lopez, who directs a doctoral program in migration studies at the Colegio de la Frontera Norte (The College of the Northern Border) in Tijuana, said its notable that Mexican officials are talking about what happened at all. He noted its the first such incident since Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador took office in December.
The problem dates back years, and its unfortunate that it keeps happening. Perhaps whats changing is that in the new administration there hadnt been any events like this, and they hadnt been made visible, he said. The fact that the federal government itself has made this situation public also speaks in another way.
As word spread of the migrants disappearance, Lopez Obrador and one of his top national security officials floated the possibility Tuesday that the migrants werent kidnapped, but rather were simply meeting up with smugglers theyd contracted to help them get across the US-Mexico border.
Theres a hypothesis that this is a way of getting to the US territory. Its not that they disappear, but that this is how they cross the border, Lopez Obrador told reporters.

They will be given makeshift backpacks full of drugs and told to walk north.
We really need that fence.
Sounds like another “manufactured crisis.”
This border situation causes death and destruction on both sides of the border by the empowerment of criminal cartels who can make a lucrative business out of this situation...but dismissed by the Left as the lives ruined are just collateral damage toward their long term political goals. The media doesn’t report things like this - most of the American public is not aware of this kind of thing, as well as the out of control assault and rape that occurs to women making the trek to the border. But, the value of human life to them is demonstrated already by their extreme abortion views including voting for infanticide.
Near future, Nineteen heads in a duffle bag.
Rival drug dealers kidnapped before they could make it across the border.

WHY ARE WE ALLOWING CITIZENS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES
WHO ENTER US ILLEGALLY GRANT THEM RIGHTS
THAT THEIR COUNTRY DENY US HAVING
WHEN WE ENTER THEIRS LEGALLY TO VISIT OR RETIRE ???
It’s time we consider illegal entry by any person who is a non Mexican citizen illegally entering the United States through the US Mexican border a defacto Mexican citizen with limited Mexican constitutional rights subject to their laws while transiting. As well as any Mexican citizen entering illegaly exempting those who do so legally and meet US citizenship requirements. All subject to reciprocal citizen treatment a citizen of the United States receives in Mexico through the Mexican constitution on citizenship .
Besides being unable to vote one must also be a citizen to own land and Mexico is very restrictive about granting citizenship. Because of that a US citizen besides not being able to vote, and cannot have title in their name to any land property in Mexico. And until that is changed the US and the affected state should consider making that reciprocal. Prohibiting any illegal entrant employment, voting, and land ownership prviledges fully enforced ..
In other words Sneak into this country before expulsion no job no voting no landowning
