Beto ORourke apologized Friday night for writings the former Texas representative made as a teenager describing fantasies about running over children with a vehicle.
Im mortified to read it now, incredibly embarrassed, but I have to take ownership of my words, the Democratic presidential candidate said during a taping of the Political Party Live podcast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Whatever my intention was as a teenager doesnt matter, I have to look long and hard at my actions, at the language I have used, and I have to constantly try to do better.
His comments come after a report Friday revealed ORourke wrote prose when he was a teenager describing a scenario in which he would accelerate a car into a group of children while hearing them scream. The report also showed he was a secret member of a hacking group called the Cult of the Dead Cow, which focused on showing people how to hack Microsoft computers.

Beto ORourkes recently unearthed membership in the hacking group Cult of the Dead Cow may not have included the edgiest sorts of hacking activity, but it did, apparently, include writing murder fantasies and exceptionally bad poetry.
Writing under the now-exposed pseudonym Psychedelic Warlord, a teen-aged ORourke appears to be the author of a poem titled The Song of the Cow, published in 1988 by cDc (Cult of the Dead Cow) communications.
I need a butt-shine, the poem begins and it really all just goes downhill from there:

Any apology for that? Or does he mean this one. LOL!
Beto needs to be in a strait jacket.
Waiting for the commie media to go after Bernie Sanders, who wrote about rape fantasies in the late 70s
So, when does he deny writing it after he said that he did? The left will believe him.
I’m convinced that all of the Democrats are mentally ill.
Sorry just doesnt cut it when yoiure fantasizing about killing children. But then, one of the main Democrat party planks is protecting infanticide. Given that, I dont know who/what hes apologizing to/for.

That would only make him more attractive.
The Democrat party has degenerated into Bedlam. Hoping they’ll “get in touch with reality” is just so much daydreaming now.
I think a good name for President Trump to call him in the election is “Cow Poet Bozo”.
When is the Left going to go after him for culturally appropriating a Hispanic nickname?
Wow. When I was a teen, I sure didn’t write stuff like this.
I cant wait to see DJTs twitter take on this. Has the president given Irish Bob his official name yet?
He’s not allowed to apologize and move on.
That’s not how this works.
As we saw with Kavanaugh, the liberals have decided that alleged events which happened when you were 17 or 18, are the only things that matter , when one is being considered for high office.
So based on liberals own criteria, we can’t just say this happened when he was a kid and move on. No, no, we need to apply the Kavanaugh treatment to his writings. And as such, they should disqualify him from being president, just as the Christine Ford allegations, to liberals, disqualified Kavanaugh from being on the Supreme Court.
I did.
I wanted to be the next Stephen King. I'd heard it pays well.
I'm not troubled in the least by the revelation that O'Rourke fancied himself a horror writer.
What a crappy world it will be if future talented authors steer clear of the macabre out of fear of being labeled disturbed.
Seems Beto apologizes for anything....not a man of strength...AOC in long pants?
What about his poem about needing ‘his butt buffed’? LOL!
Simply say you know more as an adult than you did back then, that you've become more educated and wiser with age and life experience, and you are humbled when looking back on what you thought you knew back then.
Nobody would hold that against you.
But then you have to tell Nancy Pelosi that this is why 16-year-olds are too young to vote.
