In a wide-ranging, exclusive interview with The Post, President Trump said Wednesday that if House Democrats launched probes into his administration — which he called “presidential harassment” — they’d pay a heavy price.
“If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me. I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that,” he said during a 36-minute Oval Office sitdown.
The commander-in-chief said he would declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from Robert Mueller’s probe — and predicted the disclosure would expose the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign as being in cahoots to set him up.

OK, I get the presidential harasment side of the issue. Trump will retaliate bigley if the Democrats persist in their efforts to attack and distract him. Trump, the counter puncher, will hit back hard.
Trump is protecting himself. Understandable.
But what about protecting the nation from treason? The point is exposing the cabal and its tactics is more important than anything else. Even this president. If we don’t get to the bottom of this subversion, expose and punish all those who engineered and participated in it we are effectively turning a blind eye. One thing this will do is ensure that it happens again. And the next time we may not be so lucky.
Trump is basically playing a game with the Democrats and is using the FISA docs as a bartering chip. I think that’s wrong. The country should come first. If we are to persist as a functioning republic the people must KNOW WHAT WENT ON and the only way to truely expose it is to release the FISA docs — unredacted.
I think the Founding Fathers would have done this to save the country. Just my humble opinion.
