I’ve taken a pretty extensive look at John over time.

If you look at his childhood years to just before he became a pilot, he was a total disaster.

If you look at his years post military until the present, he was a total disaster.

I’m not convinced North Vietnam had to work real hard to turn him. He was always in things for himself. He was a real piece of work that one.

He wanted to act like he was in charge of the total government. He tried to execute his own foreign policy a number of times.
