One good thing about this legislation is that it proves that court intervention is not needed or appropriate. There is an appropriate way to deal with a president who uses emergency powers in a wrong way. And it requires a veto-proof majority to do so. Courts should only be involved when laws are being broken or the Constitution is being violated. Neither apply here.

More winning.

Love he used the word “invasion” and had the angel moms there. The GOP Senators must feel like total heels.

IMHO this is the lefts first test to see if they can raise a 2/3 senate majority for impeachment. The emergency declaration is just the vehicle.

Our President, by his shear force of will, is a genius.

He can claim that his word was so important that even though he had 12 back-stabbing, self-serving traitors against him in the senate, he still managed to get the job done. That is awesome. He is awesome.

And don’t stop telling the story of those 12.

And may God Bless those who stood with him.

We still have to distrust the US Senate. In OH, Portman is way out of line. He up to this point has been very sly about never opposing President Trump quite enough to be Kasick-level evil.

It's time to call "our" Senators and let them know they'll never be voted into office again if they continue to undermine our President and our nation.
