I like Paul but he is being disingenuous here. Libertarians are opposed to the wall on principle. Which is why I can’t fully embrace the LP platform...weak on border security.
To be fair, Rand Paul is a libertarian, not a Libertarian. So while the LP platform might oppose a border wall, that doesn't automatically mean that Rand Paul, a member of the Republican Party, does as well.
I wish Paul would just change his party affiliation to Libertarian already. Hes the only real vote of personal conscious on this. Hes toeing his allegiance to Libertarian values as he always does. The rest are scum.
Almost every Libertarian I know is an open border moron.
Good point. That’s the dirty little secret about libertarians. When it comes right down to it they’re against national sovereignty. I like to call libertarianism, anarchist-lite.
The Communists are further reproached for desiring to abolish countries and nationality. This principle? From the Manifesto?
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened), against domestic violence.Trump is obviously upholding the Constitution on this vital matter, whereas the libertarian in question opposes it.
