Hallmark announced Thursday that it will no longer work with actress Lori Loughlin after she was charged in a college admissions scandal, The Associated Press reported.
Loughlin was among the roughly 40 people charged is what officials have called the “largest college admissions scam ever prosecuted by the Department of Justice.”

If it were up to me, I'd never buy a greeting card again. Big scam. But the women in my life insist on getting them so I suck it up. Yeah, I'm one of those guys at the CVS on Valentine's Day picking through what's left so that I don't come home empty-handed.
I think it’s this: we all realize there are buckets set aside for colleges for certain groups: AA, legacy candidates, athletes, true scholars, etc.
These buckets are more or less accepted, but in none of this is cheating supposed to be happening. If someone gets a spot on a track team who wasn’t even an athlete in HS, that means someone else for that bucket was not offered that spot.
One of my kids runs distance track for the NCAA right now, Division 1. He loves his school and he’s in the right place, but what if Stanford may have offered him a running spot, but didn’t because a rich parent cheated and superimposed their kid’s head on an athlete’s body and sent in fake running times?
Who this scam screwed is not the average high schooler, but actual athletes set aside for the bucket of athletes. The fact that that bucket exists at all is another question. It might not be fair that it exists (my son would not have made it to that college via his grades/SAT alone), but at least the athletes had to actually be star athletes in HS to get recruited. That’s a lot of work, even if not academic work.
College coaches aren’t paid that much so perhaps they are easy to bribe unfortunately.
I loved “Little House”, and still do. I saw a couple episodes of “ When Calls The Heart”, and thought it was awful. I see no similarity.
I’ve always liked Lori L., and thought better of her. She’s taking the big hits with the MSM, while nothing is said about Macy and Huffman. Of course, they’re raging libs, while LL and hubby donate to GOP candidates.
Sadly, If LL did the crime, she needs to do the time, as should everyone on that list.

Well, I didn’t vote for him in the primaries. Once he was the nominee, I had no choice but to do so. Generally, I’m voting against somebody, rather than for somebody, and the Democrat is always who I vote against.
Anyway, I could throw a rock on a crowded street and probably hit a better president than most of the ones we’ve had.
It is one of the FEW series on Netflix we can watch and not be offended with in your face GAYS.

One of the girls was making close to a million a year on her YouTube channel. The scandal might have ruined her goose egg.
