DA: Urgent care clinic in Los Gatos charged someone $700 for a pair of foam slippers

It's well known that emergency medical care can be shockingly expensive, but one Los Gatos clinic took things criminally far with a string of fraudulent bills, prosecutors said Wednesday.

The pair behind the clinic are a married couple from Monte Sereno, Ali Moayed, 53, and Dr. Farzaneh Tabrizi, 50.

It's their 3rd arrest for medical fraud during the last 11 years.

Seriously, the people that work there are weird.

They didn’t take her insurance and out of curiousity I checked mine, which they also didn’t take.

We went up the street to Stanford Urgent care. No problem.
