This bill forces states to automatically register to vote any eligible residents who apply to state agencies for benefits or services. It specifically includes students of state colleges and universities. It also requires the states to register all convicted criminals who become eligible to vote upon completion of their sentence. Coincidentally, the overwhelming majority of college students and ex-convicts vote Democratic. This is not dismantling any barriers. This is using taxpayer dollars to register potential Democratic voters.
Kill this bill and replace it with a real Voter ID bill.
Making Sure Democrats Always Win Act
The Times also says this bill will, “end big money in politics?” How? The bill would require the federal government to match any donation up to $200 to a candidate’s congressional campaign by a factor of six. Donate $200 and the taxpayers will kick in another $1,200. The candidate must agree, however, to accept only these “small dollar” donations. But career politicians, who can raise big money, will not restrict themselves. Have any media asked Speaker Pelosi, who has served in Congress for over 30 years and outraised her last opponent by over 340 to 1, if she will limit herself to small donations in her next reelection? Not a chance.
HR 1 is total treachery. It is so bad even the ACLU is against it. More on this:

There are heinous anti-free speech parts of this bill that make it pure tyranny.
Right now we have Senator McConnell’s determination for this bill to never see the light of day in the Senate - won’t even be brought up for a vote.
He deserves a phone call to his office to support his stance on this horror.
Obvious coup d’etat.
You can usually get an idea of how bad a Democrat bill is by the silly feel-good name they give it.
“This bill would take power away from the states, help elect Democrats, and protect career politicians.”
That’s all very interesting.
A few questions:
1. How do the fascist federal pigs take power away from the states if the states refuse to give up their power and kick ass to retain their power?
2. How are career politicians “protected” from a state armed battalion?
This whole article is wishful thinking from a bunch of weenie leftists.
