They are coming for your small engines (boats, chainsaws, lawnmowers)! And while they’re at it, they don’t care if they screw up your auto/truck engine, either.
It for Muvver ErF!

So, the government will pay to retrofit all of the machinery designed to operate on real gasoline, right? And the taxes will go down also, no doubt, in proportion to the non-gasoline in the fuel.
It shouldnt even be legal to call it gasoline.
In other news, the chocolate rations will be raised to 20 grams a week.

Small engines—chain saws, lawn mowers, weed whackers, generators—do NOT like ethanol gas. Most owner's manuals warn against it, and anything more than 10% will probably void your warranty.

This is one of the very few times when Trump is actually stupid.

Small engineschain saws, lawn mowers, weed whackers, generatorsdo NOT like ethanol gas. Large engines don't like ethanol gas either. Let a car sit a couple months or more, and you may see an engine sputter on spoiled gas. The ethanol deposits a layer of water in your gas tank over time if not used, and it can foul fuel injectors.

All of them are stupid when it comes to ethanol and propping up an industry that cant survive and thrive on its own.
Welfare for farmers is what it boils down to.
There are plenty of other better crops to grow, perhaps some organic non-gmo corn humans can eat. Corn for ethanol is not used in food for people.
