Well, at least it's their own money.......................

War on the poor. When they cannot afford the payment they are left without a way to work.

Equally accurate headline: Rich Coloradans work to deprive poor Coloradans of cars, keeping them in poverty.

I wish the state would replace the emissions program with something like this. It is dumb to check tens of thousands of modern vehicles that don’t pollute.
To: Red Badger
That will increase the prices for used vehicles with larger seating capacity. Large family, moderate income? Too bad!

I wish that people who desire to remove the only cars affordable to the poor would have their own cars crushed, and then be blacklisted from owning one.
The people who demand socialism to get free stuff are no where near as filthy as the people who want socialism to deprive others.

"The foundation takes clunkers from dealerships for free"BS, There's no such thing as a free lunch, someone is paying somewhere for this and pockets are somehow being lined.

A big selling point for Subaru in Colorado is how long they last. This is going to be a big problem for many Jeep owners too.

Years ago I worked the summer months up/near at
Greeley, CO. They had a (nearby) Turkey Farm that made the air nearly un-breathable in the early morning hours. The same goes for the meat packing company near Longmont. Bad.

They could use the cars as teaching aids for those students and then give the cars to needy people ... but instead they shred the cars to take them out of the market
