“Now we begin to see that much of the Senate from both parties were involved in FISA.”

This can be no surprise to anyone. The Political Class Republicans hated Trump perhaps even more than the Democrats. He was engineering a hostile takeover of the highly unpopular, weak, punching bag party. It is also why Trump continues to have to walk a knife’s edge...conviction in the Senate would still not be out of the question.

There are more than enough deep staters on the Republican side of the senate. The endgame of this coup d'état will probably be an impeachment and conviction over the weekend after the Müller Report drops on a Friday afternoon. Voilà, fait accompli! (sorry for all the French lingo)

I think conviction is quite possible.

China Mac only does the Judge Dance to put conservative feathers in his otherwise naked hat. He despises Trump.

Remember that 100% of Senators voted to stay in session to block Trump from recess appointments. 100%. It would only have taken “conservative stalwart” Lee or “libertarian maverick” Paul to single-handedly thwart McConnell and back Trump.

The President has no allies in the Senate. None.
