Central American migrants taken to be processed following night at border in El Paso

On Wednesday, about 800 migrants from Central America showed up along the border fence in El Paso. More groups continued to arrive Thursday...Most of the migrants are families from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. Some of them were unaccompanied juveniles, said Agent Joe Romero, public information officer with U.S. Border Patrol. KFOX14 spoke with migrants as they waited Thursday morning. They said it took them about 20 days to get to the border. Passersby in El Paso stopped to give the migrants water and food..."Because a large number is apprehended on one given day does not mean that they're released within the next 10 hours. It doesn't work that way. But they will, almost all, eventually be released. And that's where the pressure is on us." Despite the migrants showing up on the other side of the border fence, they are already on U.S. soil...Romero said the migrants will then be taken to the ICE facility, where immigration officials will determine if the migrants will qualify for an asylum case.

"A new ruling from a U.S. appeals court is out Friday morning and it gives immigrants ordered deported another way to challenge their removal.

The new ruling from the federal appeals court means that immigration authorities cannot quickly deport migrants who cross the border illegally.

When migrants come to the border seeking asylum, they’re screened to see if they have a credible fear of persecution in their home country.

If that claim of credible fear is denied, the decision can be appealed to an immigration judge, which is not part of the judicial branch."

Uh, 20 days? Slow trains or something? Not enough busses? No uber or lyft available? The assclowns keep talking about Social Security going bust. No problem scaring up money to support trespassers though.

There’s a wall there and they’re still being let in?? What’s the purpose of the wall?

Are we being snookered with all this talk about a wall? Why bother with the wall if you just open the gate and invite them in?

Anyone crossing the border without authorization should be shot.

If this presents a problem for the invaders then they should seek entry legally and safely via the US embassies in their home countries. Or they can seek asylum in Mexico or any other country adjacent to their own, according to international law.

Let the chips fall where they may.

Is the SLIGHTEST effort being made to repel them? To bring ANY kind of pressure on Mexico for allowing this? To investigate who is paying for this and sanction so hard their their grandkids will live in poverty?

Ultimately, this will take a citizen militia.

That’s unpossible! The President went to El Paso last month to talk about how great their wall is.

When these invaders are caught crossing the border, they should immediately be expelled. Put ‘em on a plane and send ‘em back.

Our “public servants”, the judges, and the unelected bureaucracy do not give a flying eff about we who bear the burden of this and pay with our taxes, our livelihoods, and our sometimes our lives.

We are helplessly watching our destruction.
