Folsom prison is 25 miles to my east. Vacaville prison hospital for the criminally insane is but 35 miles to my west.
Most people have no idea what would happen if we went a mere 30 days without power, or the government checks quit cashing.
When the prisons empty, the world changes.
Profoundly.
That sealed crawl space bullsheet is the latest money maker for pest control companies.
They tried that sell with my GF. Once I explained it to her she told them to take a hike.
They’re called sociopaths. It is a mental disorder. They have no ability to appreciate the impact of their behavior on others. It is estimated that one in twenty-five people are afflicted with this disorder.
Parents today (for the most part) have forgotten that their primary responsibility is to teach their children how to survive.
“Wait until the SHTF, and these soulless predators are unrestrained.”
I tend to view it as “a target-rich environment,” but maybe I’m just an optimist.

My Church says everyone is not righteous. They need Jesus to get a new nature and even then, its a process.
It’s curable with a lead prescription but we’re not allowed to dispense it.
Being a sociopath is not a mental disorder, any more than being a wolf is. We just need to recognize that predators like that need to be put down.
I have done a lot of work with victims of bullying. It often is helpful to identify the bullies predatory counterpart in nature, and to use the strategies their natural prey use.
If they are a lion? Be vigilant, see them first, keep your distance, warn others of their presence, and seek safety in numbers.
Are they a Snake? Have a tough hide, know and avoid their habitat.
Are they a Wolf that operates in a pack? Seek the safety of a herd, or become a hard or impractical target such as skunks, porcupines, wasps, walking sticks, prairydogs, or goldfinches. They will leave you alone.
Almost every predator or bully has a characteristic style. They are often a “one trick pony” and can be very predictable.
Once you have identified their style it is often simple to avoid them or in some cases to bait them into a trap set them up so they do their deed in the presence of the wrong power or where you have some unexpected advantage or equalizer.
There is no predator so powerful that it cannot be taken down by some other power or group of powers.
II Tim. 3:1-5 is a clinical description of the sociopathic personality; the Holy Spirit through the apostle Paul figured them out a long time ago.

We call them sociopaths. But the attitude that people outside of your tribe are resources to be used and consumed has been the common human behavior for most of humanities existence.
What we consider sane today, is an extreme rarity for most of human existence.
