Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) hasn't been in office very long and we've all seen right through her. We know she's a hypocrite. She likes to tout her Socialist ideas that "benefit everyone" and the "community as a whole" but really, she's talking out of both sides of her mouth. She wants everyone to share their hard earned money but she doesn't want to share hers. She wants "dark money" out of politics, but only if that money is someone other than hers.
After all, just a few days ago a Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint was filed against Ocasio-Cortez, saying her chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabart, allegedly created multiple LLCs to funnel campaign contributions from various political action committees (PACs). Of course, the Congresswoman denied the claims, saying there was "no [FEC] violation."
AOC is such a hypocrite that the Republican National Committee created a video, called "hypAOCrite" (like the pun?) showing just how much of an imposter she truly is. The video features the Congresswoman's hearing testimony where she talks about the dark money in politics and how politicians hide the skeletons in their closet in order to get elected. As she's saying the words, news headlines about her alleged FEC violation take over the screen.
The question for Ocasio-Cortez is simple: when will she step forward and admit that she's no different than any other politician? When will she admit that her popularity and stardom in the Democratic Party is based on nothing but lies? Oh, that's right. She won't.

(A) He co-founded a web design tool,
(B) He built up the product team at the payment processor "Stripe".........
(C) He then came to the Sanders campaign after (cough) growing disillusioned with the tech world.
Saikat Chakrabarti was Bernie's Director of Organizing Technology. Even old man Bernie knew enough to hire a tech expert.
So, I guess (smirk) Chakrabarti's tech skills musta come in mighty handy when donations to Bernie were wire-transferred to the DNC
and ended up in Hillary's account. Debbie W/S headed the DNC at the time and was ousted b/c of her bias for Hillary.
Course, none of us heard about any of this, but.....

Richard Nixon was accused of tapping a slush fund set up by “dark money” in 1952. The scandal almost got him kicked off the Eisenhower ticket.
We should start calling AOC “Tricky Sandy”. The tags seems to fit well.

The FEC complaint asserts that AOC's COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, early on established two PACs that raised big bucks for AOC's campaign:

<><> Justice Democrats PAC.
After the money was raised, Chakrabarti systematically transferred $885,000+ in PAC contributions to his private companies with similar names:
<><> the Brand New Campaign LLC, and,
<><> the Brand New Congress LLC.
Saikat Chakrabarti's private companies, unlike PACs, are exempt from reporting all of their significant expenditures.
Keep in mind it is a much-used criminal act to open bank accounts using similarly named entities as Chakrabarti did.
It's easy to siphon off money for oneself by putting checks into the new accounts with similar names, depositing checks that were made out to the original entity.
Even your bank will advise you that if the check-writer "mis-spelled" your name.....to just endorse the check with the correct name.
AND PRESTO: a check made out to Brand New Congress PAC, is deposited in the Brand New Congress LLC account.

ANALYSIS --- Chakrabarti's companies appear to have been set up for the sole purpose of obscuring how AOC's donations were used. The arrangement skirted reporting requirements and may have violated the $5,000 limit on contributions, according to the FEC complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.
Campaign finance attorneys described the arrangement as “really weird” and an indication "there’s something amiss." They said there was no way of telling where the political donations went — meaning (A) the donations could have been pocketed, or, (B) used by the LLC's to pay for off-the-books campaign operations.---SNIP---SOURCED FROM FR.

They didn’t need AOC for the latter. NY, as well as, Illinois, Detroit, New Orleans, (Soon to be Virginia, parts of Texas, and Colorado), parts of Washington state, Hawaii and California are all seeing a mass exodus of businesses due to demonrat policies, regulations and laws (e.g. minimum wage increases). All before AOC was elected.

Thing is, she and her other Comrades have learned from the case of Hillary and other Dims the past several years that they do all these things with impunity.
I've mentioned this several times. My wife notices these things. AOC is always well dressed, with a well-tailored outfit, almost always of a different color, every time you see her. Somebody is paying for these. It would be interesting if it was her own slush fund, grifted off of political contributions.
He was hired by AOC's campaign based on "his experience managing successful advertising and social media campaigns."
Among Roberts' (cough) "services" to AOC: (a) advertising strategies for potential growth, (b) developing metrics,
and, (c) aiding in execution of strategy to increase brand awareness for her PAC.”
Roberts apparently did ALL OF THAT in a 2 month trial period......working August 3, 2017, through the end of Sept 2017.
