He was always so cranky with my cats and around the neighborhood, I figured he'd be one of those dads that just hates the babies. But he's let them play on and around him since they were tiny.
The only place I've been where it was perfect in summer was northern CA, but ugh! I could never live there. Couldn't afford to for one thing. Then there's the politics. [no offense, oldteen 😁]

I remember you talking about his behavior with the other cats and that’s why it’s been so funny that he seems to love the kiddos.
I’ve heard that northern CA has nice weather during summer but like you, I couldn’t live there. Not with the way things are there.
And added to that, there are those quakes too often. I love rock ‘n’ roll but not when it’s the ground doing it. LOL
