Sen. Martha McSally, the first female fighter pilot to fly in combat, said Wednesday that she was raped in the Air Force by a superior officer.
The Arizona Republican, a 26-year military veteran, made the disclosure at a Senate hearing on the armed services' efforts to prevent sexual assaults and improve the response when they occur.
McSally said she did not report being sexually assaulted because she did not trust the system, and she said she was ashamed and confused. McSally did not name the officer who she says raped her.
"I stayed silent for many years, but later in my career, as the military grappled with the scandals, and their wholly inadequate responses, I felt the need to let some people know I too was a survivor," she said,

As I stated before, I don’t have the articles handy, but my understanding is the laws state specifically you cannot turn away an illegal alien from voting in a state election. And I not going to go research it for you, why would I?
Well McSally is a U S Senator and it is a federal election. And I want evidence that illegal aliens voted in the last election this last fall when Gov. Ducey was reelected in AZ.

She could take on the advocacy against rape without the #Metoo moment/claim, even if it did indeed happen. Going #Metoo seems to inject a little unbelievability into it, at least since it has become stylish.

I hate to be cynical, but I just remember too many timely and self-serving stories told by Dims that proved to be total fabrications.

She hasn’t even said this under oath. She has less evidence than Dr. Ford. At least she named her alleged attacker. McSally has not even said anything other than “I was raped.” Unless she provides the details including the name of her attacker, then your belief is either naive or misplaced.
I don’t think it is unreasonable to ask her for details. Otherwise she is literally slandering every officer in the Air Force that ever worked with her.
I trust her honesty.
But...was it just rape or rape rape? Without names and proof, it didn’t happen. She merely gets a thrill out of slandering male officers.

She’s a politician. You have to presume that she’s lying. If she mentioned this before she decided to be a DC Swamp creature she might have some credibility.
Too late McSally. The charge should be made as soon as possible, not years later.
When you use the term “Superior Officer.” you show how stupid and out of touch you are. I get that you might be inferior but the term is not used. If you meant that he had superior qualities in bed, that’s different. That could be why the long delay in reporting the “rape.” “damn terrible,” for sure.

What’s slightly amusing here is I would bet most guys have had a lady or two or 10 get handsy in the office. Females in the not hot enough to risk it category. That would be “sexual harassment” and possibly “sexual assault.” Guys never get a medal for not reporting that. They’d be laughed out of the room dropping something like that 20 years later. But now any self interested careerist female like McSally can make any claim with zero evidence and be rewarded for it. Unbelievable.

Well then those of us who in AZ have a choice. Either to believe her and vote for her and Pres Trump in 2020 or to vote for Mark Kelly who is running as a Democrat instead. I know who I’m voting for.

We spend a lot of time training on the proper use of deadly force. Training to obey orders no matter what. I never really appreciated why until I was in combat. I really wanted to kill all the people that looked like the people that attacked me after my first fire fight. I have no doubt that if I was raised in the Mongol society or the Roman empire and served in their military I would have killed and raped along with the other ones.
She’s going to lose. I’d look for a real conservative to support in the primary. If she votes against Trump on the border, she’s not worth re-electing.
