Dems are experts at double-crossing the electorate, HL does this, but he also double crosses the Dems by running (slightly) toward the center.
He is as gun-grabbingly dangerous as all Dems, but he's staking out the near-left (as opposed to the far left) ground.
Of course, he means none of it. He is a lefty.
