I am pro choice on the issue of vaccinations. There are many parents that love their children very much and feel there is risk in vaccines and the way they are given.

As do I, but there are aspects of government that are necessary. I believe in vaccinations.
Well, I agree with him on that. But I’m sure we would disagree on the next step. Anyone refusing vaccination should be removed to a quarantine camp in the Southwestern desert. Utah, Arizona? And kept there until they are vaccinated.

If vaccination really immunises, then your vaccinated child will be immunised and therefore protected against any disease an unvaccinated child gets. If he isn’t, his shots didn’t work and you pumped him full of garbage for nothing.
Standard practice in the clinics is for parents to sign a consent form before their child is vaccinated. If vaccinations become mandatory, there will no longer be a need for a consent form. They will take your child and vaccinate whether you consent or whether you don’t, so the usual informed consent will no longer have meaning.
Will non-compliant parents be subject to incarceration and loss of parental rights with placement of children for adoption or foster care?
Much of the home-schooling community is opposed to vaccinations, choosing to keep their children out of public school to avoid this issue. After vaccinations are mandatory, the next logical step will be to criminalize and ban the home school movement.
If we force all homeschoolers to be vaccinated, can the problem be considered solved? Does the present hysteria take into account large numbers of unvaccinated illegal aliens pouring over the borders, with catch-and-release policies? Can any cases of measles be traced to the masses of illegals?

Agree with Rand on this one-we are not a herd-in this case, the needs of the many do NOT outweigh the needs of the few (apologies to Spock from the original Star Trek)...

Vaccines that are safe, have a high effective rate, and a low to non existent mortality rate will probably do well. Most will choose to take it if the risk/reward is high enough. But with something like vaccinations for chicken pox? Do the risk/reward calculation.....no exactly a great answer is it? (especially knowing most of us had chicken pox as kids, and are alive and well, therefore risk is high, and reward is almost zero)
Government mandating almost anything tears at freedoms base. Couple this with the fact that the creators of the vaccine cannot be held accountable for what their product does to our children, and you have a recipe for disaster.
For instance, where is the incentive to make a safe product? Why not just throw together a cocktail of cheap items and pay off a gov’t official to get it on the mandatory list. Great profit table there.
And is it not crazy that if McDonalds spills coffee on me in the drive thru they are liable, but pharm scrambling a young childs brain has no liability? You simply cannot have forced vaccinations with no accountability.
The best answer, is to keep freedom in tact, make pharm responsible for the outcome of their products, and the cream will rise to the top. Simple, and has worked for the span of our great country. Why we insist on controlling others lives is beyond me, especially at the cost of something as great as freedom.

Would these politicians be willing to add PRIVATE schools not being allowed to require vaccinations? You know, the schools where the politicians send their children and grand-children attend.

both right. Thimerosal in the blood stream can NOT brake down. They never tested it with foods such as iodine that is known to brake down Thimerosal.

I am not intending to insult you.
The reality is some people are in fact ignorant, ie they don’t know something. Mostly because they have limited education.
The reality is some people really are stupid, ie they were not fortunate to be born with intelligence. Some folks end up being doctors and some end up being janitors. The reality is that not all humans are born with equal intelligence.
People who refuse to acknowledge reality because it conflicts with their political beliefs are stupid. People who don’t know what the effect of a large number of people who don’t get vaccinated are just ignorant.
So, no, I was not intending to call you any names but merely to describe your thought process based on your opinions.
I'm not Amish but their lifestyle seems to avoid a lot of problems we deal with.
