I would say the number # 1 reason is a corrupt media.

That’s some tough preaching. Hard to handle, but for the most part true.

One reason, there is not a lick of integrity or fight in any elected republican. Trump stands alone.

Why are marriage and church compressed into the same #1 issue?

It’s not an accident all these forces have been attacking America simultaneously.

What have we done to get more people back in the church?

Start tinkering with basic church teachings as if we were trying to tailor a marketing campaign for a consumer product. This has been an EPIC FAIL!

Jimmah Carter paid off the teachers’ union with the Department of Education. They took over the public schools, de-emphasizing math, science, history and civics, and shoving socialism and feel-good in its place.

Look at our milleniels. They think they are entitled.

If conservatives actually let their values guide where they spend their money the same way that liberals do, the open liberalism of the entire entertainment industry would change overnight.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree on that point. From what I am seeing our opponents would gladly lose buckets of money rather than concede one inch in the culture turf war.

Actually aside from the sexuality, Game of a Thrones very much emphasizes character

The Starks and Jon Snow exemplify it.

As do Khalessi and her dutiful followers and the Lannisters who’ve seen the right path

Even Dog has changed his ways and has a conscience

This writer doesn’t know the series

Triumph of good over evil is the show basically

It’s a morality play

Sort of Kurosawa meets medical fantasy and end times at the hands of the supernatural

Breaking Bad was more nihilistic

...Big Daddy government is turning us all into children who are surrendering large portions of our autonomy, responsibility for ourselves, and accountability for our decisions. The more we allow government to paper over the bad lifestyle choices that people make, the harder it is for people to see how damaging certain attitudes and cultural choices can be.

If government removes the 'natural consequences of bad choices' those self-indulgent irresponsible choices 'aren't that bad'... and THAT'S THE PROBLEM.

ogunsiron a on forum said yesterday:

”I personally think it's a monumental failure that republicans can't even get organized and respected enough to be able to walk around in a maga hat unmolested everywhere in the USA. I think it's an abject failure that the Trump admin does not have the back of its biggest fans.

It's a very sad state of affairs for conservatives that they are so incapable of sticking together that they can't make it OK to be openly displaying loyalty to POTUS and the political option of around 50% of the USA population.

The democrats call you all racists and that's all they need to do and it works every single time.”

#2 is the primary reason...

They send their schools to places that indoctrinate their children, don’t educate them... PERIOD.

Of course, we don’t really call anyone “degenerate” these days, do we? Ok, maybe child molesters and people who torture animals...

I realize this is a throw-off line but we've reached the point at which even it isn't true anymore. Sexualizing children has gone from unspeakable to socially defensible and its defenders are working hard to make it the norm. And what shall we say about a pediatrician and governor calmly and seriously discussing the murder of a newborn baby?

It has turned out that cultural Marxism truly is not an alternate set of beliefs, but the nihilism it was always accused of being. There is no crime in a nihilist system, only power.

But the "culture war" is very far from over. The more supercilious and arrogant the faction with the apparent upper hand becomes, the greater the opportunity for those dissenting "to eat their lunch." A reversal of what the budding Fabians ("muckrakers" & "Progressives") did in the U.S. and Britain in the early 1900s.

The great advantage of the Left in attacking heritage over the past century, has been the diversion of bright students away from the verbal arts and culture related subjects, by the explosion of new business opportunities to better provide for family comfort. Thus those family oriented & conservative are far less likely to be defending their culture, while the ideologically weak and less cerebral are left largely in control of education.

This recognized, one should realize the opportunity created by the new Leftist wave in the Democratic Party, could provide a very long overdue wake up call--but, of course, that depends on our proper response to that opportunity.

Once a new generation starts to get their teeth wet with the ease of demolishing the canned arguments of the Leftist charlatans & mountebanks, the pendulum will swing back.

Here are a few suggestions that might help:

Social Reform: Confusion & "Unintended Consequences"

Leftist War On Social Continuity

Compulsion For Uniformity
