Dems making it clear that they are on a witch hunt with document demands from 80 Trump associates

House Democrats are inadvertently forming the Beria Caucus: “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.”

I have long predicted that Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) would lead the Democrats to self-destructive behavior that would alienate enough voters to hand victory to Trump and the GOP in 2020. The letters issued yesterday by three House Democrat committee chairs, demanding documents from 80 people associated in some manner with Donald Trump, are an obvious step down this path.

The Washington Post reports:

House Democrats sent more than 80 letters Monday demanding documents from family members, business associates, political confidants and others with ties to President Trump, launching a sprawling probe into whether he and his administration have engaged in obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power.

The farthest-reaching request since Democrats took control of the House underscored lawmakers’ determination to hold Trump and those around him accountable for an array of controversies that have dogged the president during his first two years in office — and perhaps lay the grounds for impeachment.

Those receiving letters from the House Judiciary Committee include the president’s two eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump; his son-in-law Jared Kushner; his former personal secretary Rhona Graff; Allen Weisselberg, the chief financial officer of the Trump Organization; and former top White House aides Hope Hicks, Sean Spicer and Stephen K. Bannon.

Other demands for documents are directed to institutions including the White House, Justice Department, Trump campaign, Trump transition team and Trump Organization.

The obvious comparison here is to the famous dictum of Lavrenty Beria, Stalin’s secret police head:

They can go to hell....I’m not sure they even have the “right” to do this. If they do....it means that everyone who has a Trump sticker or contributed can be called before their committee.

They should be ignored. Congress makes law, it isn’t there to enforce it, and their subpoena power is basically a request. If no one played their game, what would happen?

Read about Contempt of Congress, its a long drawn-out process, and maybe it deserves to be challenged in court when it is clearly used for political purposes like this.

Nadler's lengthy "Get Trump" subpoena list of 81 names did not come together overnight.

It appears, Nadler has been "lying in wait" to nail Trump.

As well, Nadler has been stalking Trump's family, friends and acquaintances to determine their whereabouts and activities.

Conceivably, Nadler could be charged with "lying in wait", stalking, and criminal premeditation for political purposes.

=================================

REFERENCE---In criminal law, "lying in wait" refers to the act of hiding and waiting to inflict harm to a person.
Because "lying in wait" involves premeditation, some jurisdictions have established that "lying in wait" is considered
an aggravating circumstance that allows for the imposition of harsher criminal penalties.

Yes, ignore like the dems do. They just stall and stall and finally the clock runs out. Didn’t notice the R’s investigating the Tony Rezko deal or any other suspicious dealings of Obama. What about that pay to play Chicago dude that’s been in prison and all the foreign donations to his campaigns?

The 4th Amendment clearly lays out the need for ‘Probable Cause’.

Where is it? What is it?

Trump and his attorneys are never going to get this to stop. The coup plottrs have endless money and staff to grind most of the targets into dust and greatly impede the rest. America is being hurt by this weaponizing of the government against the elected leader of the country. Is it time for the people, themselves, to rise up and put and end to this and how? The Left so wants to destroy the US and import a Latin American model with tens of millions of illegal invaders. With that model comes peoples’ justice, disappearances and ad hoc justice.

All 80 of them need to take a page out of the Obama’s playbook used for his little weasels. Take the Fifth Amendment and tell the buffoons on the hill to **** off. If it works for the Obama weasels, it should work for our side also.

None of this can be legal. Donald Trump needs to fight back and go after Pelosi and the others. Will he roll over again?

The entire rat party have been lying-in-wait since the day Trump won. They’ve been salivating for this day. Hate these people.

Trump said this morning he will give up all papers requested. I guess he’s tired of fighting the rats.

All of these people on the committee's list should avoid providing the requested documentation and follow Sebastian Gorka's advice and invoke their 5th Amendment rights.

Play the same frickin' game the democRATS always play when they are called in front of congress to testify.

Don't cooperate and make them look like the fools they really are.
