Former Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker left his position at the Justice Department on Saturday, a department spokeswoman said.

Like everyone else Trump appointed at DOJ and FBI, Whitaker had no interest in the Constitution or the rule of law.
You fool. Whitaker leaving is another brilliant chess move by Trump. He had his role, and now it’s been completed.

Actually, he was great. He had courage and stood up to congress.
And......, the benefits to the Republic are/were?
Yes - that was entertaining.
But I don’t see any difference between Whitaker and Sessions in terms of how many seditious RATS were brought up on charges - or even investigated.
The fact that justice NEVER seems to be served by our department of “justice” is a cancer eating away at our country - and no one in government, not even President Trump, seems at all interested in addressing the problem.
Sessions played his role and left too.

It worked out great! Sessions stopped the leaking and hired prosecutors to do the real work while he did his best Chief Moose impersonation to fool the Democrats.
Now Sessions can get called up and either testify against or preside over the criminals.

There wasn’t a lot he could do since the libs were saying he could not be acting AG because he had not been confirmed to he had limited authority.
It’ll be interesting to see where he lands. Something tells me he’s not going far.
I think he was supposed to testify before Congress again next week, and his departure likely renders the subpoena null and void.
