Not exactly. If the usual suspects and Rand supported it then he would have likely supported it. McConnell doesn’t strike me as an idealogue on issues. Can’t give him that much credit.
McConnell is just looking to get it over with and move on to the next agenda item like the lame bureaucrat he is.
Why someone who cares so little remains in that job instead of retiring with a fat pension is beyond me.

If an illegal commits a crime they are released and as our Pres. said at CPAC, they show up 3% of the time!! What if an American citizen did that? Especially those of us who work and have some funds to pay the fine??...We get JAILED or thrown in prison with a record. NOT FAIR..
