The blame lies at least partially for her meteoric rise with right wingers who publicly react to her. She’s a leftwing populist... and most of the public barely pays attention to any news details. So every time she makes any pronouncement wrong or right (there’s no such thing as bad press) she gets triple the coverage of any other freshman critter.

You should post that on every AOC thread. The point is not that she is an idiot (which is obvious), but the bigger game that is being played. If conservatives can’t get past name-calling and see how the system is being manipulated we are going to end up with dozens more AOCs and by then it will be too late.
