The far-left Washington Post published an editors note Friday night admitting its leading coverage of the Covington High School story does not line up with the facts.
Nowhere, though, does the Post apologize or even say it regrets smearing a group of innocent Catholic boys.

Too late scumbags. You should have thought about that before you hit job on those students.
They will quietly settle out of court with an “undisclosed” amount. Guaranteed.
Every employee of the Compost should suffer.
Yup. NO APOLOGY!
It would be nice to be able to own the place and fire everyone.
Sue the bastards anyway. They need it.
Because of the suit filed against them re: this matter, any comment like this is and/or will be written by WaPo lawyers for the sole purpose of building a defense for them in said law suit.
Yeah, but it’s owned by mamazon dude ‘beezos’ who has other issues currently. He’s also not on PDJT’s side either, so he probably won’t be firing anyone so, pony up the bucks.
They will settle, but I doubt that it’ll be less than $25-million. And the Covington Boys might go and require the WaPo to settle for less, if a quarter of the front-page goes to admit seriously poor judgement in journalism.
Trust me, there's no such thing as a group of innocent Catholic boys. ;)
There really needs to be an overt and very public apology as part of the settlement.
“They will quietly settle out of court with an undisclosed amount. Guaranteed.”
They are only the first in a long line of organizations and people who will be sued. Now they have to cross reference that article with every celebrity who referred to it.
First twist of the knife.
Enjoy.
I get that youre kidding. But these boys were innocent of the Posts accusations. Sorry I am appalled at the media on this case

We may all soon be getting a lesson in our Slander and Libel laws. Hope those young men get a decent pay day out of it, they deserve it.
You can be absolutely certain that the head lawyer on WaPo's defense team told WaPo management to get the word out that (in no uncertain terms) NOTHING would be said about the Covington kids by anyone employed by the paper in public (in the paper or otherwise) unless it came from counsel.
I wouldn't be surprised if the same admonition was extended to private conversations as well (e.g., "don't even talk in your sleep about the Covington kids unless such utterance has been approved by counsel").
As soon as they get the cash, they should tell all.
Looking forward to Lin Woods’ statement tomorrow.
