...if Kavanaugh turns out to be solid. We can’t be sure yet.

Kavanaugh's record on the Vince Foster case had some concerning patterns. I would also note the recent Planned Parenthood case rejection where Kavanaugh's and Roberts sided with the liberal justices, though I read analysis somewhere stating this wasn't prima facie evidence that Kavanaugh's gone Souter.

So far I can't say Kavanaugh will be good in the long run or bad. Time will tell. This is a big reason why in a thread on a possible SCOTUS review of concealed carry and the 2nd Amendment I argued against such a review at this time because I don't trust the current make-up of the Court. Candidly, I am more concerned about Roberts than Kavanaugh...maybe we need to get two Liberals replaced before we can feel good about the Court once again ruling with fidelity to the constitution.

Btw, as a side note, Fox News is just NOW reporting that Roberts is giving conservatives pause?

Kavanaugh’s old stories of jerkish behavior probably were a hint he can’t be trusted. But because they involved sex, they made both sides nuts, calling him a stone cold rapist or defending him like a catholic choir boy. He was neither but clearly he had a deep mean streak to do what he did to the one witness to the Clinton Foster murder. He didn’t belong on the Supreme Court.

Politics makes people on both sides into cultists. Ya get what ya get, every time you focus on your emotions rather than logic. Indignance is not a good emotion to choose a Supreme Court Justice from.
