This is the sort of raving that gives men like Rush Limbaugh ammunition in their rhetorical war of feminism. In this book, Shulamith Firestone argues that women are doomed to oppression by men as a result of female biology and that only the cybernetic mutilation of the human race can free them from the tyranny imposed on them by Nature, and more specifically their own nature. That this is nihilism should be self-evident to any thinking woman or man. How, exaclty, are women going to free themselves if they use technology to obliterate the very characteristics that make them women? What “self” will be left in Firestone's dystopia when the cybernetic-sexual revolution has taken place? The only possible answer would have to be based on the kind of discredited Cartesian mind-body dualism that so much better feminist thought has assailed. The kind of self-hatred that this book embodies is staggering. It might make an interesting psychopathological study, but it is not a program for sane political action. Hopefully one day a brand of feminism will arise that is dedicated to helping women be *women* without fear of external domination. Perhaps then this kind of insanity will be laughed at; for now, it seems more worthy of fear.

So it would seem to me that would also be a reasonable age of consent for sexual relations with whomever they would like. Of course children even younger than that can make the choice to socially identify as the opposite sex - so perhaps they should also be allowed to make important decisions by themselves on who they can have sex with.
Hmm - it might even be considered part of their transsexual learning experience. How can a girl of 6 that wants to be a boy, really know what she will be missing out on if she never has sex?
All of that is really goofy I suppose - but I bet there is some liberal ethicist that would agree with me. Just like those that think a parent should be able to see what their baby will be like and living with their possible birth defects for awhile and then killing them. Up to 28 days old according to “ethicist” Peter Singer.

Within the lifetime of some of us, people argued there is a huge difference between tolerating marriage to someone of another race and tolerating same-sex marriage.

I am not shocked or surprised. It is a matter of degree more than kind. Chesterton and Lewis would both have seen this as a natural (logical) progression of the unnatural.
Once you admit one unnatural act as acceptable, any line you then draw is arbitrary, based on subjective, not objective, criteria.
Sexuality is inherently defined by biological reproduction. Two persons of the same sex cannot naturally reproduce. It is thus not homosexuality; it is homoeroticism: the narcissistic fetishization of another person of the same sex.
Likewise, heterosexual pedophilia is unnatural: A sexually immature person of the opposite sex cannot reproduce, and inherently cannot be prepared for such a relationship.
Even for those who do not acknowledge God, Nature should be their guide, but for far too many, it no longer is.
Yes, what’s left out of the column is that the corruption of Christian morals, of defining deviancy down, did not well up from the people. All of these horrid things and much more were imposed on an unwilling society by a despotic Scotus.

Nope. Systematic bullying from the ctrl-left, backed by government force imposing unconstitutional and excessive fines, led to enforced silence on homosexuality, followed by enforced silence on the transgenderism that disgusts the vast majority of normal people. That silence, if we continue allowing their violence and bullying to intimidate us, will likely lead to enforced silence even on the pedophilia that so many globalists dream of in their future.
We are facing pure evil. Will we be the first generation to surrender in mass to those who hate God?
