The ambitious Green New Deal proposal for combating climate change was dealt another blow Wednesday as Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to commit to holding a vote on the nonbinding resolution.
“I can’t say we’re going to take that and pass it because we have to go through our checks and balances of it with our committee chairs and the rest,” the California Democrat said when asked about the Green New Deal during a Howard University lecture series.
“We welcome all the enthusiasm that people want to put on the table, and the Green New Deal is one of them, but we have to operate in a way that’s evidence-based, current in its data,” Pelosi said.

Scientific analysis surmises that the earth has experience at least 5 ice ages (with resulting changes in climate after each of the surmised 5 ice ages), the only difference with this current period of climate change is simply that governments have found yet another way to fleece taxpayers!

It’s actually much worse. This climate BS is everything to the Rats. It’s the key to unlimited funding, power and control. It manifests in a thousand different ways. For example most cars and trucks made now have a “feature” where the f’n motor shuts off at every intersection. You cannot disable it. There’s a switch to cancel it, you have to hit ever time you get in the car. They will take the switch away count on it. There are hacks to beat it but you violate the warranty. All to satisfy CAFE requirements imposed by the government . Just one small example of things to come.
Code for impeachment is our highest priority.

Honestly I think this thing is being used to clear the field of old-school un-hip Democrats.
On a positive note, the young people who are sure the earth ruined in 12 years will still be here 12 years. Some of them will actually notice that nothing has changed.
